Happiness and Health
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands... turns out, whoever wrote that insipid mind-worm of a song was onto something. “Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.”
Aristotle said these words more than 2,000 years ago, and they still ring true today. Here’s a great article that links happiness with health (which for a lot of people seems pretty intuitive). The takeaway: “research shows that being happier doesn’t just make you feel better — it actually brings a host of potential health benefits”.
Not only is being happy healthy, it may also help in other little ways, like:
combatting stress
protecting your heart
asdding to life expectancy
reducing pain
Read it and grin.
Someone once said: “Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy the drugs that make you feel happy.” (courtesy of Blaze Krautner)
And now, for something completely different: Happiness is a Warm Gun. Not to mention this anthemic hit from the 60s.
